The project is a residential development set within the vineyards of Triunfo Canyon, conceived as a quiet retreat that balances contemporary architecture with a highly sensitive natural landscape. The design prioritizes long views, minimal visual impact, and a strong relationship between the homes and their surroundings.
The development consists of three modern barn-style residences distributed across a large rural site. Each home is carefully positioned to ensure privacy while maintaining a sense of proximity and connection, allowing extended family living without sacrificing independence or spatial clarity.
Architecturally, the homes reinterpret traditional barn forms through clean lines, gabled roofs, and restrained proportions. Expansive glass façades and warm wood cladding introduce a contemporary language that remains grounded in the rural character of the canyon.
Outdoor living is central to the project, with generous decks and terraces extending each residence into the landscape. These exterior spaces frame canyon and vineyard views while creating seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor environments throughout the year.
Designed within strict zoning, environmental, and fire safety regulations, the project reflects a careful and responsible approach to rural residential architecture. The result is a low-impact development that emphasizes longevity, contextual sensitivity, and a quiet architectural presence within the landscape.
